PRB: Quick Unpack Unsuccessful if SupplierAccelerator Commerce Site Exists (322788)

SYMPTOMS

If you have a site that is named SupplierAccelerator and you remove Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for Suppliers (AFS) without removing the site first, you receive the following error message when you use the Quick Unpack option:
Applications with the following names already exist. Application names must be unique across all sites. You must run Site Packager in Custom mode to specify a different computer name or IIS path for the applications.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, do one of the following:
  • Use a custom installation.
  • Delete the SupplierAccelerator Commerce 2002 site before you remove AFS.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
