Cannot save a document to multiple floppy disks in Word (322197)

When you try to save copies of a Microsoft Word document to multiple floppy disks, you may receive the following error messages on the second and subsequent attempts to save:
Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error.
(Path and FileName)
When you try to save again, you may receive the following error message:
Check the drive to make sure the door is closed and it contains the correct disk or CD.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, follow these steps:
- Open the original Word document that you want to save to multiple floppy disks.
- On the File menu, click Save As.
- In the Save As dialog box, click Desktop in the Save in list box, and then click Save.
- On the File menu in Word, click Close to close the Word document.
- Place the first floppy disk in the floppy drive.
- Minimize all windows.
- On the desktop, right-click the document that you saved in steps 2 through 3, point to Send To on the shortcut menu, and then click 3 1/2 Floppy (A:).
- When the document is saved, replace the floppy disk in the drive with the next disk, and then repeat steps 5 through 7.
