Access Violation When You Displaying Comctl32 Version 5 Image List with Comctl32 Version 6 (321841)

You may experience a problem if you create a 16-bit image list with Comctl32.dll version 5 from Microsoft Windows 2000 and then try to display it with Comctl32.dll version 6 from Windows XP. When you do so, you may receive an access violation error message in your program if you call ImageList_Draw with one of the ILD_BLEND styles.
CAUSE
Part of the image list structure is not initialized for 16-bit image lists.
