SYMPTOMS

When you use an Internet Message Access Protocol 4 (IMAP4) mail server and you receive a message that has a special mail header, Outlook Express may quit unexpectedly.

RESOLUTION

Internet Explorer 6.0

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Internet Explorer 6. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
