Internet Explorer Calculates the Web Page Window Size Incorrectly (321268)

SYMPTOMS

When you create Web pages, the screen-size calculation that is used to determine child window locations (and other items in a parent window) may be incorrect. This may cause child windows (and other items in a parent window) in an HTML page to appear off center, or to appear incorrectly in the parent window of an HTML page.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if Internet Explorer incorrectly calculates the screenLeft and screenTop positions of HTML pages.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Internet Explorer 6. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
