SUMMARY

The Microsoft Method Systems site is a sample site that is included with Content Management Server (CMS) 2001. The site demonstrates how to use the Content Connector to combine the content management of CMS with the e-commerce and personalization capabilities of Microsoft Commerce Server 2000. As delivered in CMS 2001, the Method Systems site is not compatible with any edition of Commerce Server 2002.

Microsoft supports Commerce Server 2002 and Microsoft Content Connector for Content Management Server (CMS) 2001 interoperation on the same Web site. The Method Systems solution site provides code and documentation that shows how these products work together. This solution site requires site-specific custom Active Server Pages (ASP) code modifications and complete testing in order to be successfully deployed in a production environment. This code may only be supported through Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) and the Solution Integration Engagement (SIE).
