ACC2000: "SQLSTATE=26501 (#-514)" Error Message When You Run a Make-Table Query with a DB2 Database (321002)

SYMPTOMS

When you run a make-table query against a DB2 database, you may receive the following error message:
ODBC-Call Failed - [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0514N The cursor "SQLCURCS297" is not in a prepared state. SQLSTATE=26501 (#-514)

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the latest version of the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) and the latest update for the Microsoft Jet 4.0 database engine.
