SYMPTOMS When you run a make-table query against a DB2 database, you
may receive the following error message: ODBC-Call
Failed - [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0514N The cursor "SQLCURCS297" is not in a
prepared state. SQLSTATE=26501 (#-514) RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, install the latest version of the
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) and the latest update for the Microsoft
Jet 4.0 database engine. To obtain MDAC version 2.7, visit the
