"Error Executing Static Report" Error Message (319959)

SYMPTOMS

When static BizDesk reports such as Top Requested Pages and Top Referring Domains by Requests are configured to run with Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) over HTTP, you may receive the following error message:

Error executing static report.

CAUSE

The component that creates the static reports on the server does not handle the connection string correctly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Commerce Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

The English version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Commerce Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in Commerce Server 2000 Service Pack 3.
