Cannot Play Files that Start with # in Windows Media Player for Pocket PC (JPN) (319803)

When you are using Windows Media Player for Pocket PC on a Japanese-language Pocket PC-based device, you may not be able to play files that start with a number sign (#) character.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of a problem with the fonts that are used on the localized version of Pocket PC 2002 (JPN) and Windows Media Player for Pocket PC.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, rename the file and remove the number sign from the file name.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
