This article was previously published under Q319217 SYMPTOMS After you install the Spanish-language version of Windows
XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional, the Windows Media Player icon does
not appear on the Entertainment menu under All
Programs.
For example, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Accessories, and then
point to Entertainment in the Spanish version of Windows XP. Windows Media Player does not appear as
expected.WORKAROUND To locate and start Windows Media Player in this scenario, click Start,
point to All Programs, and then click Windows Media
Player.STATUS Microsoft
