SYMPTOMS

If you start any of the accessibility functions by using the shortcut key, the logoff process may take longer than usual.

CAUSE

Starting any of the accessibility functions by using the shortcut key causes a handle leak to the Current User (HKEY_CURRENT_USER) registry hive. The leaked handle causes longer logoff times because Windows is forced to delay closing the registry hive.

RESOLUTION
