SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services Service Pack 2 (SP2), you no longer see the performance counters for Analysis Services in Performance Monitor. This behavior occurs only if Analysis Services is installed on a Microsoft Windows XP Professional-based computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
