SYMPTOMS
Installing iMesh on your Windows XP-based computer may
generate an error message that is similar to:
Explorer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.
If you view the data that the error report contains,
the following error signature information is displayed:

There may be other shareware or freeware programs
that install this dynamic-link library (DLL). See the "Workaround" section of
this article for information about how to remove this DLL.
WORKAROUND
No uninstall program (Uninst.exe) is included with
Ftapp.dll. You receive an error message if you try to remove Ftapp.dll by using
the Add or Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, and Ftapp.dll is not removed.
To remove it, use either of the following methods.
Method 1
Use a "freeware" detector (such as Ad-aware). You can download
Ad-aware from the following Cnet Web site:
After you install Ad-aware, install the updated Ad-aware
signature file (Reflist.zip) from the following Lavasoft Web site:
This updates the Reflist.sig file that is included with Ad-aware.
You can then scan for and clean this Trojan from your computer.
