SYMPTOMS

When you use the Fast User Switching feature on a Windows XP-based computer, a program window that is displayed on the desktop before you use the Fast User Switching feature may be minimized after you switch users.

WORKAROUND

To workaround this problem, click the program on the taskbar to restore the window to the previous position.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
