SYMPTOMS

You may receive an "access violation" error message when you right-click a group of different files that include MP3 files (files that have an .mp3 file extension).

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you run Microsoft PLUS! on a Windows XP-based computer.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.
