PRJ2000: Actual Work That You Type in Microsoft Project Central Automatically Interpreted as Hours (310704)

SYMPTOMS

When you type a value in the Timesheet view in Microsoft Project Central, the program interprets the value as hours. Although you can customize the Active Server Pages (ASP) code to display values in other time scale units (such as days), Microsoft Project Central always interprets typed values as hours.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
