When a message that has a read receipt attached comes through an Italian Lotus cc:Mail post office to an Exchange 2000 user, the cc:Mail user may find that the Subject line in the read receipt is changed. The Subject line has an added period (.), colon (:), and space.
The two servers are communicating through a Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus cc:Mail that is successfully performing directory synchronizations (dirsync).
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.
