XADM: The New Subfolder That You Add Under Internet Newsgroups Does Not Appear (309773)

When you use the Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) to create a subfolder in Internet Newsgroups right after you recycle the Exchange store, the subfolder may not appear.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because the recycle process does not automatically synchronize all services.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior on computers that run Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2 or later, recycle Network News Transport Protocol (NNTP) each time you recycle the store.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.
