XADM: Error 0xFFFF Occurs When You Create Newsgroups on a Japanese-Language Server (309753)

When you create a newsgroup in Exchange System Manager on a Japanese-language server, the following error message may be displayed:
Internal processing error. Unknown error 0xffff
The newsgroup is not created.
CAUSE
This problem can occur because of an issue with Nntpadm.dll.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
