OFFXP: Cannot Locate Address Validation Add-In (309688)

SYMPTOMS

When you click Validate in the Mail Merge Recipients dialog box, you receive the following message:

You need to install address validation software before you can validate the addresses of your recipients. Would you like to visit the Microsoft Office Web site to find out more about address validation add-ins?

However, when you click Yes to visit the Microsoft Office Web site, you cannot locate an address validation add-in.

CAUSE

There is currently no address validation add-in software available on the Microsoft Office Web site.

If you install address validation software, this software would validate your recipients' addresses to conform to U.S. Postal Service standards.
