SYMPTOMS

When you install a Microsoft Installer-based software Setup program over a wireless network connection, you may receive following error message:
Error 2229. An internal error has occurred

CAUSE

This problem can be caused by unexpected network drop outs that the Windows Installer service did not handle.

RESOLUTION
