Unable to Install SBS 4.5 Copy of Exchange Server 5.5 on a Computer That Runs SBS 2000 and Windows 2000 SP2 (309484)

When you need to perform disaster recovery of the Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 databases, you may receive the following error message while you are trying to install a copy of Exchange Server 5.5 from BackOffice Small Business Server 4.5:
While attempting to start the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service, the following error was encountered:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

The computer where you are trying to install Exchange 5.5 runs Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (or later) and Small Business Server (SBS) 2000.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because the application compatibility file that is installed by SBS 2000 (_Sbsw2ku.dll) is not compatible with Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
