Java programs may appear blank or empty (or may appear in the background color) when you preview a Web page for printing, and may be blank when you print them. This problem occurs in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6 for Windows 2000.
CAUSE
The Java Virtual Machine (VM) calls the Windows GDI SetDCBrushColor function during print rendering operations. This involves a printer device context. This function does not manage the brush object properly, causing the object not to be rendered correctly.
