This article was previously published under Q309228 SYMPTOMS
After you create an exception for a monthly recurring appointment in Outlook, to move one appointment into a different month, that appointment does not show up when you perform an Outlook Web Access (OWA) query on the month where the appointment now occurs.
For example, if you use Outlook to create a recurring monthly appointment that has a starting date of 12/3/2001, and you then move the 2/3/2002 appointment back to 1/28/2002, that appointment does not show up when you run an OWA query for all appointments that occur between 1/1/2002 and 1/31/2002.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.
