XCCC: Outlook Web Access Contact Shows Empty Display Name and E-mail Address Fields (309221)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA), every other time that you use the Save and Close command for a contact and then reopen the contact, the Display Name and E-mail Address fields within the contact window may be empty.

This behavior limits the effectiveness of searching because the Search feature depends on the Display Name field. A search for the contact that you saved and closed may not succeed.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
