XADM: Cannot Set Secondary Address as Primary on a Contact (309212)

When you create a secondary e-mail address for a contact and attempt to set this address as the primary or reply address, you cannot because the Set to Primary option is unavailable. You notice the following conditions:

After you apply Exchange 2000 Service Pack 2, the Set as Primary option will be available, and you can set a secondary e-mail address as the primary address.
If you select a secondary address to be set as the primary address, this also changes the targetAddress value.
The behavior is consistent on both the E-mail Addresses and the Exchange General tabs.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.
