When you create a delivery restriction in Outlook, Outlook may return a non-delivery report (NDR) message that is inconsistent with the actual reason for non-delivery.
For example, if you send a message that has a file attachment whose size is greater than the size limit restriction, you may receive an NDR that indicates that Outlook did not deliver the message because the recipient's mailbox could not be found.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.
