SYMPTOMS

After you create a new folder in Internet Newsgroups on Exchange Server 2000, Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) does not detect the folder until the service cycle is complete.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.
