NdisMSetMiniportSecondary Function Does Not Configure Miniport Adapter to the Secondary Role (309094)

Under the following conditions, NdisMSetMiniportSecondary returns a NDIS_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED status during a call to NdisMSetMiniportSecondary with a promoted miniport as a primary port:
- You have two network adapters that are initially bundled as primary and secondary.
- You turn off the primary network adapter, and then promote the secondary network adapter by using NdisMPromoteMiniport.
- You turn on the primary network adapter again, and then call NdisMSetMiniportSecondary.
CAUSE
This problem may occur because NDIS does not process this request correctly.
