SYMPTOMS

Internet Explorer may stop responding (hang) when you are using the embedded Windows Media Player version 6.4 player with remotely located Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange (SAMI) files for closed captioning.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, upgrade to Windows Media Player version 7.1. You can obtain Windows Media Player version 7.1 from the following Microsoft Web site:
