You Cannot Close the Privacy Report Dialog Box by Pressing ALT+C (308093)

This article was previously published under Q308093 SYMPTOMS After you view the privacy report for a Web site in
Internet Explorer 6, you cannot press ALT+C on the keyboard to close the Privacy Report dialog box. For example, you may experience either of
the following behaviors when you do this:
- If an item in the Web sites with content on the
current page list is selected, and you press ALT+C to close the Privacy Report dialog box, the Privacy Policy dialog box is displayed instead.
-or- - If no item in the Web sites with content on the
current page list is selected, and you press ALT+C to close the Privacy Report dialog box, the dialog box does not close. It remains displayed
on your screen.
WORKAROUND To work around this issue, press ESC or ALT+F4 to close the
Privacy Report dialog box. STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
