When you try to start an IEEE 1394-compliant digital camera in Microsoft NetMeeting or Microsoft PhoneDialer, NetMeeting and PhoneDialer do not display any video image.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because the IEEE 1394 device driver is incompatible with Windows XP.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, obtain an updated IEEE 1394 device driver from your digital camera hardware manufacturer.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
