SUMMARY

To change the name of a client group in Windows Services For UNIX (SFU) version 2.2, you must use the NFSADMIN command line utility. Client groups cannot be renamed in the SFU Administrator tool.

MORE INFORMATION

Windows SFU includes the NFSADMIN command line utility an administrator can use to make configuration changes on a computer that is running SFU. You can configure most of the configuration options from the SFU Administrator MMC-based tool, but it is not possible to change the name of a client group in the SFU Administrator tool. To change the name of a client group, use the NFSADMIN CONFIG RENAMEGROUP old name new name command.

To view the syntax for other options that you can use with the NFSADMIN command, type NFSADMIN [server|client|gw] /?, and then press ENTER.

Windows SFU 2.2 OEM Only is only available through Original Equipment Manufacturers. Windows SFU 2.2 is designed to be installed only on Windows Powered systems.
