SYMPTOMS

When you use Hewlett-Packard (HP) HP Director in conjunction with an HP OfficeJet K60xi printer/copier, you may receive the following error message when you try to invoke the Copy function:
HP OfficeJet K Series - Copy Error - An error occurred. Check the status of your HP OfficeJet.
This happens both on new installations of Windows XP and on upgrades from Windows Millennium Edition (Me).
