Windows 2000-Based Computers May Not Recognize New Media Types (303886)

You may be unable to use media types that were not identified before versions of Windows 2000 were released.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Removable Storage Manager (RSM) that is included with the initial release of Windows 2000 cannot add new media types.
