Create a New Start Menu Shortcut

To create a new shortcut for Visio 2002 on the Windows Start menu, follow these steps:
  1. Right-click Start, and then click Open All Users.
  2. Expand the Programs folder, right-click an open area in the right pane of Windows Explorer, point to New, and then click Shortcut.
  3. In the Create Shortcut wizard, click the Browse button, and then browse to the installed location of Visio. By default, the Visio.exe file is located in the following folder:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Visio10\

  4. Double-click the file name Visio.exe, and then click Next.
  5. In the Select a Title for the Program dialog box, type a name for the shortcut such as Microsoft Visio 2002, and then click Finish.
