In My Network Places, if you use an existing shortcut, such as a shortcut to a domain or to a computer in a workgroup, to create another shortcut, you may find that the new shortcut does not work.

Note that this is only an issue when you create a shortcut by using another shortcut. Creating a shortcut directly or by browsing works as expected.
