SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to use Microsoft Internet Explorer to connect to the Internet, you may receive the following message before your home page can be loaded:

Need to Download visual Basic Scripting Support.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer, and then connect to the Internet.
  2. Visit the following Microsoft Web site to download Scr56en.exe. Click Download, and then choose to Run this file from current location.
