WORKS 4: Error Message: Msworks Caused a GPF in Module Hpfwin16.dll at 0016:00008632 (300233)

When you attempt to start Microsoft Works, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
msworks caused a GPF in module hpfwin16.dll at 0016:00008632.
-or-
msworks caused a GPF in module hpfwin13.dll at 0016:00008632.
The error messages vary, depending on which printer you use.
CAUSE
This issue can occur when you are using a Hewlett Packard printer. The printer driver that is used by your printer may be corrupted or outdated.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, remove all printers from the computer and install the latest drivers for your printer. To remove the printers from your computer use the following steps: - Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, double click on Printers, then using the right mouse button (right-click), click a printer, and then click Delete.
NOTE: Repeat step 2 until you have removed all of the printers. - Restart the computer.
After you have removed all of the printers and restarted the computer, connect to the Internet, and then navigate to the printer manufacturer's Web site to download the most recent driver for your printer.
