PRJ2000: SR-1 Unable to Save Timephased Data in SQL Format (299945)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 2000 SR-1, when you save an existing project that is in a SQL database, and the Expand timephased data in the database option is selected, you receive one of the following Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) error messages:

In Microsoft SQL Server 7.0

[Microsoft][ODBC][SQL Server]SqlDumpExceptionHandler: Process 8 generated fatal exception c00000090 EXCEPTION_FLT_INVALID_OPERATION. SQL Server is terminating this process.

In Microsoft SQL Server 2000

A floating point exception occurred in the user process. Current transaction is canceled.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
