SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to browse the Internet or use TCP/IP-related programs, such as Ping.exe, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
IEXPLORE caused an Invalid Page Fault in Module unknown at: address.
-or-
Iexplorer caused an invalid page fault in module aslsp.dll.
-or-
IEXPLORE Caused an Invalid Page Fault in ALSP.EXE.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the Aventail Connect Virtual Private Network (VPN) program is installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, uninstall Aventail Connect. To do this, contact Aventail for complete information about the uninstall process.
