Train Simulator: Activity Editor Map Becomes Completely Black When You Change the Resolution Setting (299742)

SYMPTOMS

After you open the Microsoft Train Simulator Activity Editor, and then you change the screen or desktop-area resolution setting, the Activity Editor mapping window may unexpectedly become completely black.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, change the screen or desktop-area resolution back to the original setting. Doing this should force the Activity Editor window to revert to its original appearance.

NOTE: Microsoft does not support Activity Editor.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

To prevent this behavior from occurring, make any changes to your screen or desktop-area resolution setting before you open the Activity Editor.
