SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to change the values of the PR_PF_STORAGE_QUOTA and PR_PF_QUOTA_STYLE properties, you may be unable to do so, and you may receive an "0x80070005 - Access Denied" error message.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem without applying the fix, modify the PR_PF_STORAGE_QUOTA and PR_PF_QUOTA_STYLE properties by using ActiveX Data Objects (ADO).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 1.
