When you use the /PAE switch in the Boot.ini file in your computer that has more than 4 gigabytes (GB) or memory, your computer may not generate a memory dump file.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
