What Do I Need to Do to Start Using Visio 2002?

To use the Visio 2002 Trial edition after you have installed it on your computer, you must activate the software over the Internet. You cannot activate the software by phone; so you will not be able to use the software unless you have an Internet connection.

The first time you start Visio 2002, the easy-to-use Office Activation Wizard automatically walks you through the software activation process. After you complete this process, the trial is fully functional.

Can I Install the Visio 2002 30-day Trial on More Than One Computer?

No. Each trial can only be installed and activated on one computer.

Will I Be Able to Make Upgrades to My Hardware While the Trial Is Active?

This trial allows only one activation on one computer. If you do a significant hardware upgrade while the trial is still active, you are prompted to reactivate the trial but will be unable to do so.

Will There Be Support for the Trial?

Microsoft Product Support Services are not available for the Trial versions of Visio Standard or Professional 2002.

What Happens When the Trial Ends?

When you activate the Visio 2002 Trial, you receive a license that allows you to run the Trial software for a 30-day period. When that period ends, the product goes into reduced-functionality mode. In this mode, you can only open, view, and print files. You cannot edit documents, save files, or use macros.   1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
