OL2000: (CW) The 'Plan A Meeting' Dialog Box Does Not Close After You Send a Meeting Request (299476)

SYMPTOMS

When you send a meeting request that you created by using the Plan a Meeting feature on the Actions menu, the Plan a Meeting dialog box does not automatically close as in Microsoft Outlook 97 and Microsoft Outlook 98.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, click Close after you have finished planning the meeting.

MORE INFORMATION

The functionality of the Plan a Meeting feature was changed in Outlook 2000 to allow you to plan multiple meetings without requiring you to re-open the Plan a Meeting dialog box after you send each meeting request.
