You receive a _ins5576 error message when you are installing ActiveSync (299393)

InstallShield Wizard is between 99 percent and 100 percent complete, you may
receive the following error message: _ins5576 has caused
an error in <unknown> If you click Details, you may receive the following error message (where xxxx: xxxxxxxx is a memory register): _ins5576 has caused
an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at xxxx:xxxxxxxx CAUSE This issue may occur while InstallShield is checking
TCP/IP connectivity if the
Microsoft Internet Explorer add-on from New.net is installed. By using this add-on, you can gain access to domain extensions that
are exclusive to New.net users. If you install the add-on, you change
the contents of the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock2 The installation also alters the Domain Name System
(DNS) search order to make new domain name extensions such as .tech, .game, and .travel

Newdotnet2_90.dll file in the Windows folder, and adds a RUNDLL statement in

DNS to provide connectivity to the .name sites that New.net allows.
This problem only occurs if New.net Client version 2.90 (released May 3, 2001) third-party product is installed on your computer. The problem was fixed in New.net Client version 2.91, which was released on May 30, 2001. This problem does not occur with any version of the New.net Client that was released on or after May 30, 2001. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, update your version of New.net Client. To update New.net Client, visit the following New.net Web site, and then click the Enable Your Browser to see New.net domains link in the upper right corner of the page: Alternatively, you may remove the New.net Client by visiting the following Web site and then following the removal instructions that are listed:
