SUMMARY

If you click in the small navigation calendar to select a five-day work week view in Microsoft Outlook, the wrong week may display if your calendar is configured for a non-standard five-day work week.

MORE INFORMATION

When you view a five-day work week, you can select the week that you want to view by clicking one of the days of that week in the small navigation calendar. However, if you have chosen a non-standard work week, such as Sunday through Thursday, and you click the Saturday of the week that you want to select, the next work week rather than the week that contains that Saturday appears.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Click to select the Calendar folder.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the Preferences tab, click Calendar Options.
  4. Under Calendar Work Week, click to select the Sunday through Thursday check boxes, and then click OK twice.
  5. On the View menu, click 5 Work Week.
  6. In the small navigation calendar, click to select any Friday.

NOTE: The five-day view displays the work week that contains that Friday, as expected.
  7. In the small navigation calendar, click to select any Saturday. NOTE: The five-day view displays the work week for the following week.
