OL2002: A New Hotmail Folder Does Not Appear in Outlook (299295)

After you create a new Hotmail folder with a Web browser and the Hotmail Web site, the new folder does not appear in the Hotmail Folder List in Outlook 2002.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because you need to update the list of Outlook 2002 folders in the Hotmail account.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, select the Outlook 2002 Inbox that is associated with your Hotmail account, click the Tools menu, point to Send/Receive and then click Update Folder List.
MORE INFORMATION
This behavior is by design.
To reduce the burden that is placed on Hotmail servers, Outlook does not update the Folder List each time that you view a Hotmail folder or perform a Send/Receive function.
