OL2002: The 'Add' Button Is Not Available When You Use the 'Automatic Formatting' Feature (299262)

When you try to add a rule for a view by using the Automatic Formatting feature, the Add button may not be available (grayed out).
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because there are too many rules for the defined view. You are limited to 30 rules if you use the Automatic Formatting feature.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, remove the unwanted rules and add the rules that you would like to be applied.
